About the Role:
An Operations Analyst, Crisis Management oversees the safety and security aspects of Wiley and its employees at a global scale. He/she oversees the security & safety systems deployed and is assures the overall security & Safety of all Wiley employees. He/she will manage all proprietary remote security and business continuity management systems (CCTV, Card Access, Incident management and emergency alert systems, communications/reports) in all Wiley locations at the best practices level. Act as the first point of contact for crisis information & incident management of the physical security system and attend to site incident reports and activate relevant emergency response teams (where applicable). This is a 24/7 shift-based role.
How you will make an impact:
• Monitor and ensure timely reporting, handling, updates and alerts of incidents and threats to the Global Business Continuity Management and Security team of Wiley.
• Monitor the online alert notification platform (WorldCue), CCTV operations, entry/exit access control systems.
• Prepare monthly reports on regional threats, incidents, and trends.
• Keep track of the political security scenario and possible threats to the business, assets, employees, etc. and update the Security Manager accordingly in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Senior Director BCM.
What we look for:
• A NVQ L5/6 Diploma level qualification or completion of college coursework in areas such as strategic studies, project management, service writing and administration. A degree in security & strategic studies, or related field would be an added advantage.
• Candidates with 3+ years’ experience in a similar capacity preferred.
• Experience working in a 24/7 Operations Centre would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of security, safety, and emergency response, emergency preparedness and incident management.
• English fluency – sound in a combination of skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
