• *Marketing Associate: Content & Virtual Events

Job Responsibilities:**
• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company web pages, marketing materials, virtual events (slide decks), client resources, etc., (per company requirements)
• Researching & self-learning based on given materials to create required content (per given guidelines).
• Collaborating with client servicing & marketing teams to create content for clients & events.
• Knowledge in creating/designing Google Slide Decks, PDFs, Social Media Graphics & other forms of graphic/text content (knowledge in video creation will be an added benefit).
• Creating event slide decks for 1-1.5 hour events that happen 3-times a month (3 slide decks).
• Creating slide decks and promotional materials months in advance for upcoming events.
• Proofreading/editing any content assigned by the client servicing or marketing teams.
• Creating content resources for our clients by following given guidelines.
• Organizing and managing virtual events (includes planning, promotions, and facilitating live events).
• Events will be held during night hours in the US, so availability to facilitate (assist the event host) during US hours is a must (non-negotiable). Typically around 3 – 6 AM Sri Lankan Time.
• Planning events by following given guidelines – including booking dates with the event host, planning event content and promo materials, executing event promotional campaigns, setting up live web platform for events, planning for live facilitation, etc.
• Working on pre-event and post-event tasks per given guidelines – including event registration process, sharing event notes with event host, text reminders to all attendees, working on any follow-ups from the live events, sharing on-demand event recording links with non-attendees, processing any CE certificates after CE-events, etc.
• Responding to any queries sent by attendees before or after any event, either via email or text.
• Working on providing any reporting/analytic data on the events as required by the team manager/department head.
• Updating various data management sheets consistently, accurately, and on time per given guidelines.
• Working to meet set targets within the content/event management area such as deadlines and event attendance rate.
• Ensuring all content and events are up to the required standard and that CE-centric events follow all AGD PACE standards.

NON-NEGOTIABLES:
• High quality internet with NO lag issues and NO issues related to power cuts.
• Ability to work US hours (3-6 AM Sri Lankan), on a US calendar on days when events are held (4-5 times a month) – even on mercantile holidays.
– Ability to meet given deadlines.
• Ability to research and learn on your own.
• Ability to work a minimum of 8-hours, 5 days a week.

Expected Qualifications & Skills:
• Ability to produce creative, original content.
• Excellent written (writing & editing) and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in creating digital content – graphics, presentations, PDFs, etc.
• Knowledge in video editing/creation will be an added benefit.
• Excellent Research Skills to identify information that is useful for the audience.
• Great time management skills – ability to stick to strict deadlines.
• Competency in all GSuite Apps.
• Ability to proofread/fact-check long-form content.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adhere & work according to all guidelines and processes assigned by management.
• Ability to adapt to the company’s culture.
• Interpersonal skills and openness to feedback.

Education & Experience:
• Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role (if you don’t have work experience send in your sample writing).
• Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or relevant field would be an added advantage.
