Job description
The Manager – People Development and Culture at Axiata Digital Labs (ADL) is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the organization’s human capital by leading competency-based learning and development initiatives. This role is instrumental in cultivating and embedding ADL’s core values and nurturing a robust organizational culture, aligning with the company’s innovative and community-focused ethos. The incumbent will be a key driver in fostering an environment of continuous learning and development, underpinning ADL’s commitment to operational excellence and superior customer experience.

Strategic Learning and Development Initiatives
• Competency Framework Development: Create and implement a comprehensive competency framework to guide employee development.
• Learning Program Design: Develop and curate innovative learning programs aligned with ADLs strategic objectives.
• Skills Gap Analysis: Conduct regular skills assessments to identify developmental needs and opportunities.

Culture Enhancement and Value Integration
• Cultural Initiatives Leadership: Spearhead initiatives that reinforce ADLs core values and positive work culture.
• Values Communication and Advocacy: Actively promote and embed ADL values across all levels of the organization.
• Employee Engagement Programs: Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.

Performance Management and Development
• Performance Management Systems: Develop and refine performance management processes focusing on competency development.
• Career Pathing and Progression: Facilitate career development plans in line with individual competencies and organizational needs.
• Feedback Mechanisms: Establish effective feedback channels for continuous learning and improvement.

Organizational Development and Change Management
• Change Management Leadership: Lead change initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and values.
• Organizational Development Strategies: Formulate strategies to align workforce competencies with ADLs evolving business needs.
• Best Practices Research: Continuously research and implement best practices in people development and organizational culture.

Education and Experience
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree, equivalent professional qualification or higher in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a people development role, with substantial experience in learning and development, and cultural enhancement within a technology-driven environment.

Knowledge
• Human Resources Practices: In-depth knowledge of modern HR practices, especially in learning and development.
• Cultural Dynamics: Understanding of organizational culture dynamics and change management.

Skills
• Leadership and Management: Exceptional leadership skills to drive learning initiatives and shape organizational culture.
• Strategic Planning: Strong ability in strategic planning and execution of development programs.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and engagement.
