Job Responsibilities
• Lead a team and ensure effective management and implementation of all Group and Business unit policies and procedures in line with the business objectives and respective industry trends
• Ensure implementation of policies and directives relating to people matters given by the head of Sector HR, respective CEOs, and act as an advisor to the management on Human Resource issues and the enhancement of the respective organization structure and processes
• Make recommendations on setting and reviewing key performance indicators across the sector linking rewards to performance and be responsible for implementation of performance evaluation programs and individual and team performance goals
• Be responsible for implementation of performance evaluation programs and individual and team performance goals and develop compensation benefits and reward policies in line with market practices to ensure performance driven culture
• Develop training need analysis for identification of gaps and suggest talent development plans across the sector organizations
• Manage the employee/labour relations by identifying employee issues and taking appropriate action. Counsel employees on disciplinary actions, disputes, performance etc
• Align training strategy with business needs and design required training programs and oversee delivery of same
• Implement and lead Staff Engagement initiatives, Staff Retention Plans, the Staff Development Strategy, Mentoring programs and the Succession Plan

Person Specifications
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or hold an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Proficiency in using HR Systems.
• Experience in the IT Industry will be an added advantage.
