DESIGNATION : Manager Finance / Deputy General Manager Finance

SALARY : Gross Rs 450K +

OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking for an highly skilled and experienced Finance professional to join their team as a Manager Finance / Deputy General Manager Finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in both Management Accounting and Financial Accounting. This role will be pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, strategic financial planning, and sound decision-making, driving the company’s financial performance and long-term sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Management Accounting:
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Develop and maintain management reports, including profitability analysis, cost management, and variance analysis.
• Lead performance evaluation processes, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to track the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and present financial reports for decision-making purposes, including capital expenditures and investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with different business units to provide financial guidance and align operational activities with financial objectives.

2.Financial Accounting:
• Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, ensuring reconciliation of accounts and proper financial controls.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure financial and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Lead the continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and financial systems.

PRE – REQUISITES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role covering both management and financial accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
