MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Silueta is an innovative solution provider that has altered the dynamics of the apparel industry, empowering your body to move freely and comfortably while enhancing and safeguarding your movements.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the Silueta Marketing team as a Manager of Business Development! This role would enable you to maximize sales opportunities through liaising with local buying offices and retailers, in line with agreed customer and pricing strategies, and to develop the product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop an appropriate customer contact database, identify key decision makers, and undertake periodic travel to meet with local and overseas buying offices in order to expand the customer base.
• Analyze market conditions, identify market pricing structures, and liaise with local and overseas customers.
• Ensure that the pricing strategies employed are consistent and achievable in order to obtain the best benefit for the organization.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the customer’s buying procedures and seasonal calendar and identify appropriate service levels for each customer.
• On an ongoing basis, review the product range that needs to be added to the portfolio and the corresponding sampling requirements.
• Work closely with the development team in order to obtain the required technical support and initiate the preparation of theoretical costing as and when required.
• Work closely, follow up, and guide all subordinates in order to ensure that they fully understand new account procedures, test methods and expectations.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree and Postgraduate Degree in Marketing (MBA Preferred)
• Professional qualifications in marketing (CIM, SLIM) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Good communication skills
