As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving financial success by delivering key insights that guide strategic decision-making.

You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing cost structures, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly will make you an essential asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

– Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with the company’s objectives.

– Monitor cost structures, profitability, and conduct variance analyses to provide actionable insights for improving cost management.

– Manage inventory and cost accounting processes to ensure accurate product costing and financial reporting.

– Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive financial performance.

– Assist with financial audits and help implement strong financial controls and procedures.

– Stay updated on financial regulations, accounting policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

· Nonprofit or purpose-driven organization experience is an added advantage, reflecting commitment to mission-focused work.

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Partially qualified in CASL/CIMA/ACCA.

· Minimum of 2 years of management accounting experience.

– Strong proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel.

– Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

– Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
