• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Highlight risk areas to management.
• Initiate measures to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Ensure that month-end financial reporting is completed within the timeline.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in all financial reports.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and variance analysis to support decision-making and improve cost efficiency.
• Conduct overhead review meetings in the respective plants.
• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals.
• Conduct detailed overhead (OH) analysis of respective plants.
• Analyze the pay-back period and ensure expenses are within the budget.
• Monitor and report on key financial and operational performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and provide recommendations to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams & factory accountants to provide financial insights and support operational goals.
Requirement
• BSc in Physical science / Finance degree from a recognized university with ACCA, CA, or CIMA qualification. [Candidates with a background in science will be given priority].
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management accounting role, preferably within the garment manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software [Quick Books].
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
