Job Description

The Lecturer is responsible for teaching and learning in pre-university and university programs. Key responsibilities include:
• Prepare and deliver coursework materials, assess student work, and manage examinations.
• Liaise with Unit Coordinators for teaching and learning activities.
• Provide leadership in curriculum design, learning materials development, and pedagogical innovation.
• Undertake research, publish in Q1 journals, and present at conferences.
• Determine student learning needs and provide academic support.
• Maintain required activity points and comply with university policies.
• Contribute to academic services, community engagement, and promotional events.

Qualifications

Essential:
• A doctoral qualification / reading in marketing with five years’ relevant teaching experience.
• A record of successful classroom teaching/lecturing at the tertiary level.
• Proven experience in the teaching of students from diverse cultures.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of research in Q1, Q2 journals

Proficient in using and teaching the following softwares:
• Shopify, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Synthesio, Jamovi, Voyant Tools, Tableau, Power BI
