Lead Technical Business Analyst

Job description
Lead Technical Business Analyst to support a complex Ecommerce Platform development with deep integration into a virtualization layer for infrastructure resource provisioning. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, API-driven provisioning, and system automation to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

The individual will work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, define integration workflows, and ensure seamless coordination between various systems. This includes third-party API integrations, automated resource allocation, and cloud infrastructure management. Additionally, the BA will play a key role in user story grooming, backlog refinement, test case validation, and stakeholder communication to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

This is a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of resource provisioning, infrastructure automation, and seamless system integrations within the Ecommerce Platform.

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with clients and internal teams to capture, document, and validate business and technical requirements
• Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements using technology-driven solutions
• Technical Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, workflow diagrams, and integration documents for engineering teams
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work alongside software engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business needs and technical feasibility
• System Integration & API Analysis: Support integration efforts by analyzing APIs, third-party system connections, and data flow requirements
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment
• UAT & Implementation Support: Assist in defining test cases, supporting UAT execution, and validating delivered solutions against requirements
• Data & AI Enablement: Work on AI-driven projects by helping define data requirements and business use cases for automation, analytics, and machine learning

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
• 3+ years in a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role within IT services, software development, or AI-driven platforms
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure/ GCP), and database structures
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to dissect complex business problems and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements
• Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks, backlog management, and sprint planning
• Documentation & Modeling: Proficiency in tools like Confluence, Jira, Lucidchart, BPMN, or similar for process mapping and requirement tracking
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
• Preferred but Not Required: Exposure to AI/ML models, cybersecurity principles, or DevOps practices is a plus
