Lead Business Analyst

Job description

The Lead Business Analyst will take a leadership role in the business analysis function, establishing best practices and driving continuous improvements within the organization. This individual will collaborate with key stakeholders to define strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.

Experience Requirements:
• 6-8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role as an Associate Lead Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Core Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end business analysis process for large-scale IT projects and programs.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, conduct requirements elicitation sessions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Mentor and guide junior business analysts while contributing to process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Create detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Oversee user acceptance testing and coordinate training sessions for end-users.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions.

Technical Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
• Strong understanding of SQL and database querying techniques.
