As a Junior Sous Chef – Pastry, we rely on you to:
• Assist the Pastry Sous Chef in overseeing daily pastry operations.
• Maintain consistency in flavors, textures, and presentation to meet brand and guest expectations.
• Experiment with new recipes, techniques, and plating styles to enhance the dessert menu.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues ensuring high performance .
• Assist in stock management, ensuring optimal inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Stay updated on the latest pastry trends, global dessert styles, and innovative baking techniquesto continuously improve the menu.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
• A passion for Culinary.
• Similar experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
• Ability to manage a team, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality production.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Creativity and innovation in developing new pastry and dessert concepts.
