Job Title: Remote Junior Accountant
• Location:* Kandy , Sri Lanka (Working for an Australian Firm)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team remotely from Sri Lanka. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
• Key Responsibilities:*
– Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
– Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations.
– Conduct regular account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
– Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
– Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
– Collaborate with the Australian team to support financial audits and reporting requirements.
– Provide financial advice and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Qualifications:*
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
– Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with experience in international accounting standards.
– Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office (Excel proficiency is a must).
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
– Prior experience working remotely is an advantage.
