We are seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for passionate and talented graduates with Accounting & Finance degrees from recognized universities, supported by strong professional qualifications, to join our growing team. With 2-3 years of accounting experience in reputable organizations and a keen interest in Australian accounting and taxation, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with us.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage financial records and transactions.
• Process payroll and ensure tax compliance.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, and GST returns.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Improve accounting processes.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• A Degree or Diploma in Accounting & Finance from a recognized university.
• Fully qualified in AAT, and partly qualified in ICASL (Corporate Level), CMA, ACCA, or CIMA, working towards full qualification with a strong educational background.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with audit exposure.
• Experience in Australian accounting and bookkeeping within a reputed BPO organization, with proficiency in Xero being an advantage.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in Australian accounting and taxation

Working arrangements:

This role is based in Colombo and offers flexible working arrangements, blending remote and office-based work. A minimum of 2 days per week in the office is required. Work from home days will need to be tailored to work around business engagement and workshops. Attractive compensation packages will be offered.
