Requirements:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Having one or more of the following certifications will be an added advantage. (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Data Center, VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX), Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect, IBM Certified Solution Architect Enterprise Architecture, TOGAF 9 Certification)
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, or similar role, in a complex IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, design principles, and current industry trends.
• Expertise in security, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve problems creatively.

Responsibilities
• Design and Planning: Architect and design IT infrastructure that meets future scalability, security, and performance needs. Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans that integrate hardware and software components seamlessly.
• Technology Selection: Assess and select appropriate technology solutions (hardware, software, networking) that align with organizational goals. Stay abreast of technology trends to ensure compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
• System Availability: Implement strategies and technologies to guarantee high availability of IT systems and applications, minimizing downtime and optimizing operational performance.
• Infrastructure Management: Supervise the entire IT infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient operations that support business activities.
• Implementation Oversight: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely and budget-aligned deployment of infrastructure projects, from concept to execution.
• Security and Compliance: Design and enforce security measures to safeguard against cyber threats, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and standards.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Devise robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring resilience in the face of disruptions.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continually monitor infrastructure performance, identifying and rectifying bottlenecks while recommending enhancements for efficiency.
• Cost Management: Optimize infrastructure expenses without compromising on performance or security, evaluating cost-effective solutions including cloud services and virtualization.
• Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring IT infrastructure aligns with organizational needs and goals.
• Research and Development: Lead the exploration and integration of emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance our IT infrastructure.
