Role Description
This is an on-site internship role located in Moratuwa for a Human Resources (HR) Intern. The HR Intern will be responsible for tasks related to HR management, policies, employee benefits, and personnel management on a day-to-day basis.
Location: Moratuwa. On-Site
Duration: 6 Months
Compensation: Paid Internship. During the internship, the intern’s allowance will be increased based on performance.
Start Date: Immediate
Work Schedule: 45 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday compulsory, with two weekdays off.
Note: Remote options are unavailable due to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparation of orientation materials and assisting with paperwork.
• Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation.
• Help coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
• Provide administrative support in performance management and employee evaluations.
• Prepare and update HR reports and presentations.
• Support the HR team with day-to-day HR functions and employee relations tasks.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proactive attitude, able to work independently and within a team.
• Previous experience in HR or a related field is a plus.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
