POSITION: Head of Business Development

LOCATION: Dhaka, Bangladesh

SALARY: USD 6,000 (Net) + Accommodation + Other Benefits

OVERVIEW:

Our client, a leading multinational apparel manufacturer, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Business Development to lead and expand their global footprint. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with extensive experience in apparel manufacturing, particularly in knit products, and a strong track record in international business development. The selected candidate will be based full-time in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and will play a pivotal role in driving growth across multiple product categories and markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute global business development strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities across different product categories and geographic regions.
• Collaborate closely with the production and merchandising teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Drive pricing, negotiation, and contract finalization in line with company targets.
• Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
• Lead and mentor a team to support business development initiatives.

PRE-REQUISITES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the apparel manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience handling knit products.
• Must have experience in traveling overseas for business development across various product categories.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a global mindset.
• Culturally adaptable and willing to relocate to Bangladesh on a full-time basis.
