mvfinance is an international financial group that since 2013, unites companies specializing in consumer lending in Southern and Eastern Europe, and Mexico.

As part of our strategic growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our expansion into a new market. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the business’s growth and ensuring our continued success in a highly competitive and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the market entry strategy and oversee the successful launch and development of operations in the new market.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to establish a strong market presence.
• Manage the overall operations of the institution, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities and partnerships in the new market.
• Establish and manage relationships with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the development of marketing, sales, and operational strategies tailored to the new market.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and industry standards.
• Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and deliver results.
• Continuously assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies.

Requirements:
• A university degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manager role within the banking, non-banking, or similar sector.
• Proven track record in market expansion and business development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop teams.
• Deep understanding of financial regulations and industry practices in both domestic and international contexts.
• Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in managing cross-border operations is a plus.
