Role Description
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support Olanka Travels’ global expansion plans.
• Identify and secure funding opportunities, investment partners, and financing solutions for international operations.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, revenue, and expenditures while implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Manage multi-currency transactions, cross-border banking, and financial reporting across global markets.
• Ensure adherence to local and international tax laws, financial regulations, and audit requirements.
• Implement strong internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, analysis, and performance insights for senior management.
• Collaborate with the expansion team to evaluate market entry strategies, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in finance, investment, or financial management, preferably in global business or the travel industry.
• Strong experience in fundraising, venture capital, or securing business loans & grants.
• Expertise in financial planning, global expansion, and international financial operations.
• Proficiency in multi-currency financial management, cross-border taxation, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with financial software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or ERP systems).
• Strong knowledge of financial risk management, internal controls, and business analytics.
• Leadership experience in managing finance teams and investor relations.
• CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
