EXECUITVE – PLANNING (Based at Avissawella)
A dedicated vertical of MAS Holdings, MAS Kreeda produces revolutionary high-performance sportswear for Nike- one of the leading sports brands in the world.
Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the KREEDA team as a EXECUITVE – PLANNING! This role would enable you to Prepare weekly sewing plans for a section of modules in a plant along with cutting, pre-production & RM call-out plans for the plant, based on the raw material & production updates, engaging with operations team, sourcing team and PCU team. Plan new NIKE buys based on the product allocation and available capacities. Monitor day to day production to optimize capacity & secure deliveries from the plan. Collate information from Business divisions/Operation units & SAP and update the system to facilitate internal planning teams to perform their planning activities whilst, engaging in routine planning activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan the buy within timelines to match the standard/given RM I/H dates & the delivery date, maximizing plant capacity & efficiency and check on embellishment constrains.
• Share sales order line-item wise RM needed dates within the agreed timelines and send the updated Factory Summary report (loading status) after planning the buy
• Allocate capacities for special/SLT programs & plan updated projections weekly and follow up on order confirmations with relevant capacity planner.
• If there is any overflow discuss with relevant capacity planner and take necessary actions to minimize the late ness. Based on the final update inform best possible deliveries to capacity planner.
• Advise the capacity status after planning updated projections
• Plan confirmed orders based on the raw material, sample approval status and customer required delivery
• Prepare and communicate any required action plans and crashing lead times to relevant parties to achieve the set plan
• Check and adjust if there are any embellishment constrains discussing with relevant embellishment planners
• Implement mechanisms to monitor adherence to capacity plan and facilitate optimization of production efficiencies by moderating variances in styles and thereby changeovers, whilst planning facilities to meet and/ or exceed budgeted standard hours for the month.
• Conduct weekly production review meeting with plant representatives and update the production plan based on the actual productions, whilst initiating action plans, plan revisions for possible delivery delays/ production advances, and circulate the updated production plan to relevant parties
• Prepare & send the weekly capacity status to internal & external parties after finalizing the plan and advise the late plan status of the plant with reasons & responsible parties after minimizing them
• Providing Order status for weekly PPR split with reasons & responsible parties and advise the style transfer details from other plants.
• Providing reasons & responsible parties for Garment AF’s related to the plant and advise changes against the two weeks frozen plan, advise the style changeovers for 4-week period.
• Prepare supporting plans for the production plan and cut plan such as the following in order to facilitate the cutting/ production processes.
• Latest RM update for Not achievable orders and Identify the RM delay qty’s effecting the cut/ production plan.
• Draft action plan with relevant parties to minimize the affected qty’s & circulate the action plans and identify RM requirement to cater the production plan.
• Draft action plan with relevant parties to minimize/eliminate import AF’s & circulate action plans
• Check RM in-house status against committed in-house dates and coordinate with Merchants, in case if any delays whilst, identifying possible action plans in order avoid any negative impact on production
• Import Production and embellishment updates to the Fast React System daily whilst, ensuring the accuracy of same.
• Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Degree in Engineering or Physical Science or Statistics or Computer Science or NDT.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar field.
