Executive – New Product Development

What you need to do
• Understand business requirements and sign off on the annual innovation calendar.
• Develop new products in alignment with the annual innovation calendar.
• Oversee the critical path of product development, ensuring all stages are executed effectively from inception to launch.
• Ensure timely progress of items in the innovation calendar, ensuring they meet key milestones as per the agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with chefs and suppliers to conduct cost analysis for new products.
• Sign off on selling prices and ensure products are delivered at target price points.
• Collaborate with the retail operations team to ensure timely product launches, adhering to the established product standards.

What we are looking for
• Possess a Degree in Business/ Hospitality Management/ Food Science/ Food Technology.
• Experience in product launches, developing new products and managing innovation, work delegation and time.
• Minimum 1 year’s work experience will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in product development or innovation management, preferably within the food or consumer goods industry.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in cost management and pricing strategy.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
