What is this career about?
The selected candidate is required to liaise between the UTE sales team and customer organizations to develop the corporate training solutions. It requires building strong relationships with organizations, especially HR and training, learning & development, and compliance teams, in order to understand the employee development needs and provide technical/non-technical corporate training solutions. Further, he shall develop e-learning solutions (online training programs) to make the UTE LMS a more sought-after platform for training needs.
• Coordinate with Sales team and customer organizations to identify training needs and provide suitable Learning & development Solutions for their employees
• Coordinate with Resource persons and discuss with them and develop customized training programs, finalized with the customer and prepare training proposals.
• Facilitate at the customer location/UTE at the day of the training.
• Organize special events/activities to engage with the corporate customer organizations.
• Coordinate between Learning Center and Marketing team to prepare marketing/promotional material
• Devise and implement strategies to position UTE Learning Management System as an Online / hybrid Learning hub
• Coordinate with Marketing team to promote the online learning programs among the identified target markets.
• Coordinate in market Research activities to identify and propose new opportunities for growth.
What potentials should the ideal candidate have?
• Bachelor’s Degree Business Management, HR or recognized diploma in L&D
• Minimum two-year of experience in coordinating Learning and development activities
• Excellent Presentation skills (verbal and written ) in both Sinhala and English
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Professional attitude with ability to work according to deadlines
• Excellent Computer skills in (office packages/email/online interactions)
• Technical knowledge about construction machinery will be an added advantage
