Primary job role
The Executive – Learning and Development will play a critical role in the HR team by supporting the planning and execution of Learning & Development initiatives. This position will facilitate smooth training operations, align programs with organizational objectives, and foster a culture of continuous learning. The role holder will collaborate with the HR team and other departments to ensure effective execution and impact.
Main duties/responsibilities
Learning & Development & Learning Partnering
• Work with department leads to identify training needs and ensure timely communication and follow-ups.
• Conduct departmental induction and orientation sessions for new employees.
• Plan and manage training programs, coordinating between participants and facilitators.
• Address immediate learning requirements within assigned departments proactively.
Training Program Delivery
• Assist in designing and delivering training programs.
• Conduct on-site training sessions at company facilities to provide hands-on and customized learning experiences.
L&D Reporting & Analysis
• Support monthly reporting of learning activities, including tracking and updating learning hours.
• Prepare and present learning progress reports to department leadership.
Leadership Development
• Assist in coordinating leadership development and coaching programs.
Driving L&D Related Assessments
• Manage annual assessments for the department to identify development needs.
• Presenting analysis reports and allocating training in development areas.
Learning & Development Budgeting
• Assisting in managing the annual budgeting process by collecting requirements, obtaining necessary approvals, and maintaining the budget.
• Handle the chargebacks and verifications to ensure accurate and transparent financial tracking within the Learning & Development department.
Administer online learning platform
• Administer e-learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, by providing weekly recommendations, developing learning paths, and monitoring overall progress.
Other responsibilities
• Provide support to the Talent Development and HR team as needed.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives.
• Support DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives and culture-building activities.
Experience
• 2 – 4 years of relevant professional experience in Learning & Development or Human Resources.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
Technical Knowledge
• Training Delivery and Design Methodology
• Experience in compiling and managing PowerBI dashboards
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Business Management, or a related field.
• A professional qualification in Human Resources or Training & Development is desirable.
