Executive – International Sales & Marketing

Join the Richard Pieris Group, a dynamic and diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, and be a part of our journey to success. We are looking for an Executive – International Sales & Marketing to contribute to the growth of Maskeliya Tea Gardens Ceylon Limited, the tea marketing arm of the group.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing international buyers by providing regular updates on product launches, price revisions, and promotional offers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities by reaching out to potential buyers via email, cold calls, and participating in local and international trade fairs.
• Handle the end-to-end order fulfillment process, including sending quotations, processing purchase orders, preparing Proforma Invoices, and coordinating with internal teams for order planning.
• Oversee pre-shipping and post-shipping documentation to ensure smooth export processes and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Provide marketing support by assisting in the development of promotional materials and strategies to expand the company’s global presence.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in the tea export industry.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Passed GCE Advanced Level preferably in the commerce stream.
• A part/ full qualification in International Business Management or Marketing would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field of International Sales & Marketing would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM/ ERP systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate in other foreign languages would be a definite advantage.

Job Location:
• The position is based at our corporate office in Maharagama.
• For ease of commute, preference will be given to candidates residing within a 25km radius of Maharagama.
