Job Title: Executive – Digital Marketing

Royal Institute comprises of 5 schools (Under the banner of “Royal Institute International School”), a higher education arm (Royal Institute of Colombo), an online teaching platform (Royal Institute Smart Academy), a Skill development unit (Royal institute Center of Skills) and a sports complex. Being a pioneer in the education sector, Royal Institute has maintained a tradition of providing quality education to students for 50 years. Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive – Digital Marketing to join our team.
Job Summary
In this role, you will be reporting to the Group Manager – Marketing and will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the reputation and visibility of the Royal Institute of Colombo. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing campaigns that promote our brand, products, and services. This role requires a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and display advertising.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools and prepare regular reports.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms and manage daily posts.
• Manage organic social media content across channels, ensuring consistency and suitability of captions.
• Support the development and implementation of SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
• Assist in managing the company’s website, ensuring content is up-to-date and optimized for search engines.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials.
• Help with the coordination and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and performance tracking.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field. Professional qualifications in Digital Marketing is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing software.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
