Job description
Education/Experience and Skills Requirement:
• Willingness to work in UK and US shifts alternately on contractual basis
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or quantitative field (economics, mathematics, statistics or equivalent) (mandatory)
• 2–4 years’ experience in similar role
• Practical knowledge of Excel, including formulae and macros
• Experience with pivot tables and pivot charts
• Basic understanding of VBA and ability to validate and fix VBA code
• Experience with mail merge function on Word to generate documents based on data
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal skills, with sense of client service
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities and work with team members with diverse cultural backgrounds
• Solution-oriented, with strong focus on attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge/interest in capital markets, funds and asset management (such as understanding of funds and other investment vehicles) (preferred)
Responsibilities:
• Create, update, review and maintain Excel documents and templates, including large data sets
• Implement data validation techniques to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data entries
• Review and proofread content to validate the accuracy of content
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to source and validate data
• Develop and maintain VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks
• Generate reports and dashboards to validate data and present insights
• Restructure and export data for mail merge functionality
• Create, update, review and maintain mail-merge templates on Word
• Execute mail merges to generate documents based on Excel data
