Equity Analyst – Investment Banking Unit

Job description
You should ideally;
• Possess overall experience of 8 years with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in analytical research
• Possessing the CFA qualification will be an added advantage
• Possess a qualification in economics/ finance / accounting from a recognised university or an acceptable professional qualification in a similar field
• Have sound knowledge of the equity market
• Possess an excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills
• Be a good team player
• Be willing to work under pressure
• Have work experience in a stockbroking firm which will be an added advantage

You will be responsible for;
• Analysing financial and other information and preparing company and industry outlooks and analytical reports
• Developing and updating financial models that would be helpful for investment decision making
• Recommending investments in listed companies
• Preparation of regular or ad hoc reports / proposals
• Any other responsibilities of the Investment Banking Unit / Bank as assigned
