What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue across Colombo and Hambantota properties, targeting corporate, leisure, MICE, and group business.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to enhance pricing and occupancy strategies for maximum profitability.
• Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, SEO, social media, and brand positioning.
• Oversee media partnerships, PR initiatives, and advertising strategies to strengthen Shangri-La’s market presence.
• Motivate, guide, and develop the Sales & Marketing team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners.
• Efficiently manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns with high ROI.
• Align sales and marketing efforts with guest expectations to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and brand advocacy.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to refine business strategies.
What we are looking for :
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred) with 10+ years of senior sales and marketing experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams across multiple properties or regions.
• Strong understanding of the Sri Lankan market, travel industry dynamics, and global hospitality trends.
• Expertise in revenue optimization, digital marketing, and data-driven decision-making to drive business growth.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a guest-centric approach.
