Designer (Graphics)

Job description
Thamaya Solutions is looking for a Designer to assist with managing creatives and projects handling for graphic, print and 3D requirements.

With a focus on creative and innovative problem-solving, Thamaya Solutions specializes in event and project management, fabrications, creative direction, and specialized packaging for corporate clients

Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong eye for detail, good time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple design projects across various mediums. We are looking for someone who is passionate about design, able to collaborate with different teams, and committed to delivering visually impactful content that aligns with our brand and client needs.

Job role: Full-time role, 3 month training period

Location: Thamaya Solutions, Nawala

Skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
• Base knowledge of print materials
• Proficiency in 3D software and visualisation (Blender, Lumion, 3ds Max, SketchUp)
• Ability to create 3D visualizations for interior, exhibition booths and event setups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines
• Skilled in presenting creative ideas and concepts to clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within teams

Job Role
• Designing creative assets for event branding, marketing materials and other print ready requirements
• Assisting with the development of visual concepts for interior events, packaging, and fabrication projects
• Preparing design presentations and pitch decks for client proposals
• Creating visuals for exhibition booth designs and specialized interior features
• Conducting project-based research to source design inspirations and references
• Ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and project requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar field.

Minimum of 6 months of work experience.

This is a full-time, in-person role at our Nawala office.
