Design Engineer
Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Proven 2 years of experience in technical design and drafting, with a focus on storage racking systems, mezzanine floors & buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & similar design software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
• Knowledge of structural requirements and building codes related to storage systems & buildings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design tools.
Responsibilities
• Create detailed technical drawings and designs for storage racking systems, mezzanine floors & buildings.
• Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to develop customized storage solutions for clients.
• Ensure designs meet safety regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Work closely with production and installation teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design and manufacturing process.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather information for design projects.
• Continuously improve and update design processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
