ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading local conglomerate with diversified interests and this position is in the Corporate Officedesign
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implement, and maintain database systems.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with software development teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Apply database changes relevant to application bug fixing, modifications and version updates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in database management
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT or related field from a recognised university or institution.
• Sound knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle etc.
• 1 to 2 years work experience in database administration.
• Certifications in Oracle, Linux, Azure will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in teams.
