Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure the seamless, 24/7 operation of our databases. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, optimizing backend structures, and enhancing frontend accessibility for end-users. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient data flow across the organization while implementing best practices for database performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build high-availability, high-quality database systems tailored to each end user’s specialized role.
• Design and implement databases in accordance with end users’ information needs and views.
• Define user roles and facilitate accurate and timely data distribution in the appropriate format.
• Utilize high-speed transaction recovery techniques and perform regular data backups.
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to ensure optimal query performance.
• Provide both proactive and reactive data management support and user training.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Establish, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular tests and evaluations to maintain data security, privacy, and integrity.
• Monitor database performance, implement necessary modifications, and apply patches and updates as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 5–10 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications.
• Expertise in SQL, data backup, recovery, security, and integrity.
• Strong familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.
• Familiarity with programming language APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think algorithmically.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment.
• Exceptional analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
