Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Corporate Sales Manager to join our hospitality team. The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for driving corporate business, managing key client accounts, and developing new opportunities within the corporate sector. This individual will work closely with corporate clients, managing relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the hotel’s services are presented as the preferred choice for corporate travel, meetings, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Sales Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute a corporate sales strategy aimed at generating revenue from key accounts, including businesses, government agencies, and large organizations.
• Identify potential corporate clients and target business sectors that align with the hotel’s offerings.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
• Foster long-term partnerships with corporate clients, ensuring continued business growth.
• Ensure all corporate clients receive personalized and exceptional service to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Activities & Lead Generation:
• Proactively prospect new corporate clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
• Qualify leads and build a robust sales pipeline, ensuring regular follow-ups and timely conversions.
• Drive group bookings for corporate meetings, conferences, seminars, and incentive travel.
Corporate Event Sales:
• Work with clients to plan and organize corporate events, such as conferences, meetings, seminars, and incentive programs.
• Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams (operations, catering, and event management) to execute events as per client expectations.
• Upsell additional services such as audiovisual, catering, and event spaces for added value.
Revenue & Account Management:
• Achieve and exceed corporate sales targets, ensuring revenue goals for corporate accounts are met or exceeded.
• Track performance against targets and prepare regular sales reports, forecasting trends and identifying growth opportunities.
• Monitor corporate accounts to ensure that all aspects of their bookings are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaboration with Marketing:
• Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns for corporate clients.
• Provide input into promotional strategies, corporate packages, and seasonal offerings tailored to corporate clients.
• Ensure the hotel’s corporate offerings are marketed effectively through the right channels to attract new business.
Travel & Networking:
• Represent the hotel at corporate networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
• Attend client meetings and site visits to promote the hotel’s corporate offerings and expand business relationships.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand corporate travel trends and opportunities.
• Provide feedback and insights on market conditions, competitive positioning, and potential client needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 4 + years of experience in corporate sales or account management within the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, conference center).
• Proven track record of developing corporate accounts, negotiating contracts, and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network within the corporate travel and event planning sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
