POSITION: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

LOCATION: Colombo, Sri Lanka

SALARY: 1.3 Mn Gross per month

OVERVIEW: Our client, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead their operations in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The CEO will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic direction, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring growth and sustainability within the renewable energy sector. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of the renewable energy and manufacturing industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the company’s growth and ensure its long-term success.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the company including production, business development, and project management.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.
• Represent the company in negotiations, partnerships, and business development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead and mentor the executive team and staff to achieve organizational goals.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, customers, and investors.

PRE-REQUISITES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in operations or business development within the manufacturing industry, with a preference for experience in the solar and renewable energy sector.
• Current COOs and CEOs are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role with a track record of driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
