Business Development Officer – Cargills Bank
Location: Western Province, Sri Lanka
Department: Cargills Cash
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring that agency banking operations in retail locations run smoothly and meet the high standards of quality and service expected by Cargills Bank customers. This involves identifying areas for improvement, evaluating service quality, and ensuring all necessary resources are available to support our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operations Audit and Improvement:
• Conduct thorough verification of operations at retail centers to identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze and assess the quality of banking services at each location.
• Service Quality Management:
• Ensure the availability and quality of banking services at each location.
• Review and analyze banking transactions to assess service quality.
• Reporting and Collaboration:
• Prepare reports for the Central Division based on findings from site visits.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve operational issues effectively.
• Resource Management:
• Ensure that all necessary banking documents are readily available at each location.
• Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for collection accounts.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Education: Successfully completed G.C.E. O/Level examination.
• Experience:
• Minimum one year of experience in outlet sales or merchandising.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Driving: Valid driving license and a willingness to travel across the island.
• Tech Savvy: Possess a basic understanding of technology and its role in banking.
• Other: Must have a valid driving license and own a motorbike.
