Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager – IT Products & Services at Victrix Tech. The role will involve identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting IT products and services. The position is based in Colombo but allows for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients, generating new business opportunities using various sales strategies. Follow up on leads to ensure conversion into clients.
• Product Knowledge & Value Communication: Develop a deep understanding of our IT products and services to clearly articulate how these offerings can meet client needs and improve their business operations.
• Client Needs Assessment: Engage with clients to assess their requirements and communicate these to the development team for effective solution implementation.
• Product Presentations: Conduct tailored product presentations, showcasing how our technology can solve client-specific challenges or enhance their business processes.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, driving repeat business and referrals while providing continuous support to ensure satisfaction.
• Sales Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and track sales progress, manage pipelines, and report on performance to the management team, ensuring goals are met.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing, Business, or professional qualifications in related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within the tech sector.
• Demonstrated success in tech sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Basic understanding of web development and design principles to effectively sell IT solutions.
