Business Development Intern Opportunity

Potential for Full-Time Position:

If the intern’s performance meets the required standards during the internship, there is a possibility of transitioning to a full-time position either during or after the internship period.

Paid Internship Allowance:

Starting at LKR 25,000 per month. Based on performance, there is potential for an increase to over LKR 45,000 per month after 3-4 months.

Location: On-site, Moratuwa

Work Schedule:
• 5 1/2 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday: Half day, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Job Role:

As a Business Development Intern, your key responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and researching new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Assisting in the creation of strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
• Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting the business development team in pitching, negotiations, and deal closure.
• Assisting in market research, competitor analysis, and developing sales strategies.
• Contributing to the planning and execution of business development projects.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Good analytical skills with an interest in business strategy and development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of marketing and sales strategies is an advantage.
• A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
• A background in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
