As the Business Development Associate at GroupOS , this role is pivotal in launching our new app, designed to enhance and support community engagement and connectivity. Your contributions will directly impact how communities interact and thrive using our innovative platform. By identifying and engaging potential enterprise and general clients. This involves thorough research and prospecting to build a robust pipeline, pinpointing the right decision-makers, and crafting compelling outreach emails. The role also includes developing innovative marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and leveraging organic channels and strategic partnerships.

About You

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team. This role is critical in driving the growth of GroupOS by identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and managing the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation (SaaS):
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential SaaS clients across various industries
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, categorized by industry, company size, and relevance to GroupOS

Client Outreach:
• Initiate contact with potential clients through personalized outreach
• Develop and execute targeted campaigns to engage decision-makers and schedule introductory meetings

Meeting Coordination:
• Arrange and conduct initial meetings with potential clients to present GroupOS: Coordinate schedules with potential clients to find suitable times for initial meetings
• Create and deliver compelling sales decks tailored to client needs: Develop customized sales presentations that address the specific needs and challenges of each potential client

Account Management:
• Manage client accounts, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction: Provide ongoing support and resources to help clients get the most out of GroupOS
• Develop strategies to retain and grow client relationships: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services or features that could benefit the client

Sales Training and Management:
• Potentially train new sales representatives and oversee the customer pipeline management: Mentor and support new team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them succeed. Develop training programs and materials to help new sales representatives understand GroupOS, the sales process, and best practices

Marketing:
• Create marketing materials for sales pitches to different verticals or customers: Use all available resources to create the documents, decks and visuals /emails you need to grow the sales department

Fundraising:
• Create/maintain/outreach to investor databases: Help us find the right investors to pre-pitch and schedule informative calls to help us raise capital and get backing by the correct investors

Assistant duties:
• Help in all areas and departments needed to support the executive team: General help in different areas may be required in this role

Requirements

SKILLS
• Research and Prospecting: Conduct in-depth research to identify at least five enterprise clients that can benefit from GroupOS, and use a Google Sheet to meticulously organize the findings, categorizing them by industry, company size, and relevance
• Contact Identification: Research to find the correct contact person within each potential client organization and provide their name, title, and contact details in a Google Sheet
• Email Outreach: Craft persuasive email templates to initiate contact and propose meetings, ensuring the emails highlight GroupOS’s value proposition and include a clear call-to-action
• Creative Marketing Ideas: Propose innovative and cost-effective strategies to increase awareness of GroupOS, focusing on leveraging organic channels, grassroots marketing, and strategic partnerships
• Email, Communication, and Organization Skills: Outline a plan for organizing and following up on prospecting tasks, detailing the tools and techniques to be used for efficient information management

Qualifications
• Proven experience in SaaS sales, business development, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using LinkedIn and email for outreach
• Ability to create compelling presentations and sales decks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
