Job Opportunity: Business Coordinator – Alternate Channel
Role Description
HNB Assurance PLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Coordinator – Alternate Channel to join our team in Colombo. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a critical role in supporting our department’s mission to deliver comprehensive life insurance solutions to banks through our alternate distribution channels.
As a Business Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including conducting detailed analytical work, managing finance-related activities, and providing essential administrative support. You will be the key point of contact for various stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Additionally, your role will involve collaborating closely with banks and other financial institutions to integrate our life insurance offerings into their service portfolios, ensuring a seamless experience for our partners and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth analytical tasks to support business decisions and strategy development.
• Manage finance-related activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Provide administrative assistance to the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and various stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
• Deliver exceptional customer service within the alternate distribution channels, particularly in collaboration with banks.
• Work closely with banks to integrate and promote HNB Assurance’s life insurance solutions.
• Support the department in achieving its business goals through effective coordination and management of tasks.
Qualifications:
• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in finance.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven experience in providing administrative assistance.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance industry practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field would be added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and email communication.
• Experience working with banks and providing life insurance solutions is highly desirable.
