Job description
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive company growth. This role involves researching and identifying potential clients, markets, and business opportunities. You will create and implement strategic plans to attract and acquire new customers, establish and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners, and generate and qualify new leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Negotiating contracts, agreements, and pricing with clients to ensure mutual benefit is also a key part of the role.
In addition to generating new business, you will provide support to the sales team by sharing market insights and helping with proposal preparation. Analyzing market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats, tracking and reporting on business development activities, sales pipeline, and performance metrics, and collaborating with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and support for business goals are also essential tasks.
