Biomedical Engineer to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Biomedical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to
maintain and service our diverse range of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will possess
a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
● Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a variety of biomedical
equipment, including Biochemistry Analyzers, Hematology Analyzers, Electrolyte
Analyzers, and Protein Analyzers.
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to medical equipment, ensuring minimal
downtime.
● Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
● Provide technical support and training to clinical staff on the operation and maintenance of
medical equipment.
● Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
● Ability to work overnights as needed.
● Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
● Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective equipment
management.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
● Proven experience with Biochemistry Analyzers, Hematology Analyzers, Electrolyte
Analyzers, and Protein Analyzers is essential.
● Strong knowledge of electronic systems and PC maintenance.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Ability to work overnights.
● PC and maintenance & Electronic knowledge would be an added advantage.
