Audit Assistant – Negombo

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully examine financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies

• Cross-reference documents with relevant records to ensure proper documentation is maintained

• Perform reconciliations of various accounts, ensuring that all financial data is consistent and up-to-date

• Assist in reconciling cash, bank accounts, and other balances to ensure no discrepancies exist.

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

• Suggest and assist in implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

• Provide administrative support to the finance and audit teams as needed.

• Verify the accuracy of entries and classifications in financial records, ensuring that all data is correctly recorded and allocated

Qualification & Skills

• Prior experience in auditing or accounting is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with accounting software and standard audit procedures.

• Good communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Residing in or willing to relocate to Negombo
