Code94 Labs is a newly established, up-and-coming digital agency operating fully remotely. We cater to a wide clientele from different countries around the world, mainly based in Sri Lanka. We are a set of young individuals, therefore our working environment will be pretty flexible.

Whom we’re looking for

Our team is looking for a talented Associate Software Engineer who has a passion to develop amazing tech products using the MERN stack for our clients. If you are someone who loves working in a flexible work environment with a team that is as tech-savvy and driven as you are, this is the perfect job for you!

Tech Skills
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Should have more than one year of experience in developing MERN stack applications
• Experience with React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Express
• Experience in Python is an advantage.
• Should have experience with Redux, Axios, and other relevant dependencies
• Experience in API development and design using express, REST APIs, React JS, and micro services-oriented and monolith architecture.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Understanding of software deployment architecture with Docker, Kubernetes, and Nginx
• Good working knowledge of caching technologies and web architecture
• Good understanding of security practices
• Ability to build reusable code
• Experience in building eCommerce websites is an advantage

Non-Tech Skills
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle
• Ability to work with other team members and collaborate
• Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment.
• Ability to learn and develop modern technologies and skills
• Should have excellent problem-solving abilities
• Should have a basic understanding of using Jira or any other project management software
• Ability to complete given tasks fast with quality code and best practices
