Job description
You should ideally;
• Possess Bachelor degree in Islamic Banking/ Finance/ Banking or Part qualification in a related field
• Possess around 7 years of experience in banking out of which 5 years should be in Islamic Banking
• Possess minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system management, with at least 3 years focused on Islamic Banking systems or financial service
• Possess strong understanding of Islamic Banking principles, IT system architecture, and integration proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Possess knowledge in MS Office Package

You will be responsible for;
• Identifying and assess IT systems and solutions that cater to Islamic Banking requirements, including Sharia-compliant products and services.
• Developing and execute a detailed implementation plan for the selected IT systems.
• End-to-end deployment process, including system integration, testing, and user training
• Assisting the project teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT system implementations.
• Ensuring the projects are delivered on time, within scope,
• Monitoring system performance and gather feedback to make recommendations for enhancements in Islamic Banking technology and propose improvements to existing systems
• Understanding the strategy of the business & operational plans for the Islamic banking to achieve the targets of all business lines
• Be up to date on all applicable policies, procedures & guidelines that would help in fulfilling the business & operational plans
• Ensuring continuous efforts in awareness generation/ localized marketing of the Bank among market segments identified under Islamic Banking
• Closely monitoring the existing customers and explore opportunities to increase business volumes
• Ensuring all customer transactions are completed as per Sharia Standards, guidelines and banking practices/ SLA’s
• Identifying opportunities that will enhance productivity/ accuracy/ other benefits without compromising on risk
