Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Event & Marketing Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a strategic short term leasing plan to maximize revenue from common area spaces, kiosks, and branding opportunities.
• Identify potential clients, including retailers, advertisers, corporate brands, and event organizers.
• Proactively pitch and present promotional and branding opportunities to potential clients, showcasing the mall’s footfall and audience demographics.
• Prepare detailed proposals, including pricing, terms, and layouts, tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate agreements to achieve favorable terms while maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
• Ensure timely collection of rent, fees, and any other dues, addressing payment issues as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Understand client branding and promotional goals to recommend suitable spaces and creative solutions.
• Oversee the setup, execution, and teardown of promotions, kiosks, branding displays, and events to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all client activities comply with mall policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Collaborate with the mall’s marketing team to create attractive promotional packages and event opportunities.
• Monitor competitor malls and other commercial properties to identify trends and opportunities in promotional leasing.
• Monitor the use of leased spaces to ensure adherence to contractual terms, safety standards, and mall guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SOH leasing, retail leasing, advertising sales, or event management.
• Proven track record in generating revenue through space leasing or advertising.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Basic knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals effectively.
