Accounts Executive

Join the Richard Pieris Group, a dynamic and diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, and be a part of our journey to success. We are looking for an Accounts Executive to contribute to the growth of Maskeliya Tea Gardens Ceylon Limited, the tea marketing arm of the group.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist in month-end closing
• Ensure tax compliance and file statutory returns
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain inventory and fixed asset records
• Liaise with clients and vendors on financial matters

Qualifications & Skills:
• GCE Advanced Level qualification (Commerce Stream).
• Professional qualifications such as ICASL, CIMA, or ACCA (fully or partly qualified).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance will be advantageous. (fully or partly qualified).
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Job Location:
• The position is based at our corporate office in Maharagama.
• For ease of commute, preference will be given to candidates residing within a 25km radius of Maharagama.
