Accounts and Tax Consultant

Job description
We are a management consultant and accounting firm that provides services to clients in the UK and EU. We are expanding our team in the UK/ Colombo offices and are looking for an ambitious Consultant.

We are looking for candidates with ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualifications or who are partly qualified and have at least two years prior experience in audit or a UK BPO/BPM are also encouraged to apply.

𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
• Accounts preparation under FRS102 and FRS 105.
• Preparing self-assessment, VAT returns, and payroll for individuals and companies in the UK.
• Preparation of tax reports, technical articles, and research papers.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and cashflows.
• Practice management and administrative duties.
• Software certifications include Xero, QB, Taxcal, and PowerBI.
• Preparation of management reports and Internal control reports.
• Eligible candidates will travel to the UK or abroad for training.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
• ACCA/ ACA /CIMA member or Part Qualification in ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• They should have completed Advanced Taxation (ATX); if part qualified, they must be willing to attempt and complete Advanced Taxation (ATX).
• Ability to adapt and learn in a new environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines as a good team player.
• Must have strong work ethics and adhere to IFAC and ACCA codes of conduct.
• Strong communication skills (Verbal and written) and IT skills are expected.
