Our team is currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with Australian tax and financial reporting requirements. You will also handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and manage various bookkeeping tasks for our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, invoices, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Communicate with clients regarding financial transactions and bookkeeping matters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• Assist with other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements (Preferred):
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a professional qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably with Australian clients.
• Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations and experience with bookkeeping software.
• Desirable experience with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, ATO Portal, Trello, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary: The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, paid in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
