Required Skills & Experience

Job Prerequisites
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with a professional mid-level qualification in ICASL/CIMA/ACCA.
• Minimum 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Sound knowledge in MS Office Application and QuickBooks.
• A self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands on experience in handling tax matters (VAT, WHT, APIT etc.).
• Ability to work with minimum supervision & independently.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations & accounting principles.
• External audit experience would be an added advantage.
• Ability to join at short notice.

Responsibilities
• Verify financial data entered into the accounting systems and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements and preparation of bank related documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements & prepare relevant reconciliations.
• Provide support for ad hoc financial analyses and presentations.
• Handle VAT/WHT/APIT and any regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Handle general administrative duties related to finance and accounting.
