Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Banking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships. This role plays a crucial part in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Business Development:
• Proactively identify and pursue new corporate banking clients within the local market.
• Develop and present compelling business proposals that address client needs and objectives.
• Maintain a robust network of contacts and industry knowledge to generate new leads.
• Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with existing corporate clients.
• Understand client business needs, goals, and challenges to provide customized financial solutions.
• Proactively address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Transaction Management:
• Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Credit Administration, Trade, Treasury, Compliance, Internal Control) to ensure smooth execution of transactions within agreed timelines.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting:
• Conduct thorough analysis of client financial data and market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Team Collaboration:
• Effectively collaborate with colleagues across different departments to deliver exceptional client service.
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10-12 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 5 years in a similar senior position/responsibility.
• Proven track record of successful business development and relationship management in corporate banking.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable and resilient with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
